If you want a dream vacation on pristine white-sand beaches and blue waters with spectacular sunsets and a lively nightlife, you don’t have to leave the U.S. to find it: it’s waiting for you on Siesta Key!

Located just south of Bradenton and Sarasota in Florida, Siesta Key satisfies all you want in a summer vacation. There’s lots of water activities, of course: kayaking, boating, parasailing, fishing, jet skiing…or just lying on the sand soaking up the rays.

There’s plenty of shops when you want some time off the beach: you’ll find unique boutiques, souvenir shops, clothing shops and so much more.

Restaurants? Boy, does Siesta Key have restaurants! Whether you want fine dining or a casual setting, you’ll find something to your liking at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Seafood, burgers, ribs, steak, chicken–whatever you’re in the mood for, you’ll find it at one of many Siesta Key eateries.

On top of all that there are dolphin tours, charter boat rides, sunset tours, bike rentals, scooters…the only problem with a Siesta Key vacation is, you’re likely to run out of time before you run out of things to do!

Once the day’s over, you’ve got the nights to fill with activities: and Siesta Key still has plenty for you! Live music cafes and bars, dancing, nighttime beach activities…just because the sun goes down doesn’t mean the fun dies down. Siesta Village is a popular hotspot for nightlife on Siesta Key; fun is the mainstay at places like:

  • Daiquiri Deck: have dinner and a daiquiri out on the famous “Deck”, where there’s music and contests
  • Beach Club Siesta Key: dance the night away to live music!
  • Siesta Key Oyster Bar: casual setting, live music out on the patio, frozen drinks and oysters on the half-shell

So now you’re ready to book your next vacation at Siesta Key…where do you stay?
