The Siesta Key 4th of July fireworks display is a must-see, lighting up the Gulf Coast sky with a dazzling patriotic display.
The show starts around 9 p.m. with fireworks set off near the volleyball courts at the public beach. The free public beach parking lot fills up fast, often by early morning. If you’re staying at the Sea Shell on Crescent Beach, or anywhere else on Siesta Key you can enjoy the show from the comfort of your spot on the beach as the fireworks are visible all along the Key.
If you have a boat or can manage a rental, watching from the Gulf or the Intracoastal Waterway offers a unique perspective. Just be aware of increased boat traffic.
The fireworks light up the sky for about 30 minutes, but the festive atmosphere buzzes throughout the entire day, especially in the Village. Plan to utilize the free trolley service to avoid traffic.
The Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce proudly organizes and hosts this annual fireworks tradition. This spectacular event is made possible by generous contributions from local businesses, including The Sea Shell, individual donations, and customer ’round up’ programs at Crescent Market and Morton’s Siesta Market. Please consider rounding up your purchase – it directly supports this beloved community celebration!
