Breakfast, Brunch, and Coffee on Siesta Key

There is no shortage of amazing restaurants on Siesta Key, and we have a full list of them on our Dining and Shopping in Siesta Key page. But the most important meal of the day (or so they say!) is breakfast, so here is a roundup of the best breakfast, brunch, and coffee spots on Siesta Key.

Toasted Mango Cafe. Just steps from Sea Shell, the Toasted Mango Cafe is a family-run gem that radiates warmth. They are famous for their waffles, but trust us, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Their mango-flavored butter adds a delicious sweetness to their pastries, pancakes, and bread selections.  Open daily, 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Crescent Beach Market. This beloved landmark is a grocery store and so much more. Venture to the back deli area and discover their yummy selection of smoothies, coffee drinks, and delicious deli sandwiches. Gluten-free bread available. Across from the Sea Shell, the Crescent Market is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Meaney’s Mini Donuts and Coffee House. Donuts for breakfast? Absolutely! Meaney’s, tucked within the Crescent Beach Market Plaza, serves up mini donuts that are warm, fresh, and utterly addictive. Pair them with their rich coffee, and you’ve got the perfect sweet start to your day. Open Sunday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Captain Curt’s Coffee Shop. Captain Curt’s Plaza truly has it all, including a coffee shop that’s perfect for a grab-and-go beach breakfast. Specialty coffee drinks and hearty breakfast sandwiches? Yes, please! Grab some breakfast to go and enjoy the peaceful vibe of Siesta Key Beach in the morning. Open daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Siesta Key Summer House Steak & Seafood. Known for its elegant dinners and leisurely lunches, Summer House now dazzles with a Sunday Brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. that rivals the finest hotel spreads. Reservations are recommended, especially during the busy season.

Siesta Key Oyster Bar. Fondly known as SKOB, their Sunday brunch is a local and visitor favorite, and for good reason. Enjoy a fun, casual brunch menu from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. that’s even better with a complimentary mimosa or bloody Mary.

Bonjour French Café. For an authentic French experience in Siesta Key, Bonjour French Café delivers. Feast on flaky croissants, savory quiche, or a delicate crêpe. Top-notch food and a delightful atmosphere make it a must-try for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Majo Risin’ Coffee Company. Excellent coffee, nice people, and a low-key atmosphere make this a great place to start your day or grab a pick-me-up in the afternoon. They also offer mixed drinks, smoothies, and snacks. Open daily 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sun Garden Café. Sun Garden Café is one of our most popular local eateries for breakfast or lunch. The ingredients are locally sourced, and the food is freshly prepared to order. The lovely garden setting gets raves from locals and visitors alike. Open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Village Café. Another breakfast/lunch-only restaurant in the Village, the aptly named Village Café has an extensive selection of breakfast entrees, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and more. They also cater and will work with you to construct a personalized menu. Open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.

Another Broken Egg Café. Sure, it’s a chain, but don’t hold that against them – Another Broken Egg does breakfast and lunch very well. Enjoy a wide selection of pancakes, waffles, benedicts, breakfast sandwiches, and more. Open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.

Turtles on Little Sarasota Bay. Turtles is one of only two waterfront restaurants on Siesta Key, and they serve brunch with a view on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Their breakfast platters will leave you wanting more, but too full to eat more.
